I watched as the movie began. The voice was so ridiculously off from mine, and her face bore nearly no resemblance. When Edward and Alice showed on screen, I burst into laughter. People around me turned and glared, so I was quiet, but their beauty, gracefulness, and perfectness were hardly close to the real thing. Alice was chuckling quietly beside me.

I tilted my head in confusion at how much the movie differed from us. I felt a kick on the back of my chair. I turned to see a boy, about my age, raising his eyebrows suggestively at me. I grimaced and gave him an icy stare. He winked at me. My stomach turned at how much he was...flirting with me. I shuddered at the word. I shot one last icy stare before I turned back to face the screen. Bella looked at my concerned face. I shook my head at her at focused on the screen.

I watched as Alice turned from me, focusing on the movie. I frowned, but watched the film as the "Cullen's" spoke with so much plainness. The real things had much more musical voices. I laughed every once in a while at funny things. I could tell that Alice was bored. We kept watching. We got to James' scene at the ballet studio and I shuddered, remembering the more...intense pain I went through when it happened. The hospital scene made me shiver too, remembering when Edward left me. I then looked at Alice, who shrugged and then groaned. I turned to see the prom scene: that Bella's dress was not as inappropriate as mine, and the Cullens were no where to be seen. Alice whispered angrily to me that she had a perfect dress and she wasn't even in the scene. I laughed.

I saw the credits roll in front of me and I sighed. "Well, that was...underestimated." I shrugged at Bella. She chuckled as she looked at the actors' names rolling by on the screen. The annoying boy behind me pulled my hair to get my attention. I turned to him, who gave me another smirk. I snarled, soft enough so the entire theatre wouldn't hear, but loud enough for him to hear. Bella turned to me at the startling sound I had made. He jumped back and made a beeline to the theatre door. Luckily, he kept his smart mouth shut. Bella stared at me and I laughed. "I so hate being cruel to little boys." I smirked at Bella, who laughed again in return.

"Ha ha," I said sarcastically. I smiled a little, and as the credits began to roll, I dragged Alice out the door...or....I ATTEMPTED to drag her out the door. Eventually, she just went along, and I was happy. "Alice, can we please go to a bookstore? Please? PLEASE?" I said, trying to be persuasive.

I sighed as Bella and I strolled out of the theatre and onto the street. I glanced to the small bookstore across the way. I smiled at Bella's efforts to be persuasive and agreed. Bella beamed, took me by the elbow, and we walked inside the bookstore. I looked around cautiously. It smelled the faintest of dust and it was warm inside, almost stuffy. As soon as I turned to her, she had darted off into the maze of bookshelves. The shopkeeper, at the register now, seemed to stare at me out of the corner of my eye. I never made direct eye contact with him, but I could tell he was a Quileute, definitely. I walked slowly into the many rows of bookshelves to locate Bella, and maybe even find some noteworthy books as well.
