"Alice? You...made this deal?" I said to her. She nodded. I looked over to my confused Bella and back at Alice and back again. "Bella...just forgot right?" I said, trying to find a loophole. "That means we can start over..." I trailed off.

"No!!!" I said to him. "I know what you'd do if we start over...and I don't like it. Just let me get her memory back, okay? Just...tell her I left." Tears welled up in my eyes but I refused to let them out. *MAKE A CHOICE...* my personal Devil whispered, knowing that Edward could hear. "I can't do anything, Edward. He's in my head. We can't kill him..." When those words left my mouth, a rush of pain filled my head, as if the Devil had shocked me. "Ow..." I only whispered becaused the pain I was feeling was nothing comared to the pain I knew I was putting on Edward.

"Alice...I'm not going to do that. do you know how much she'd miss you? She'd probably throw herself off another cliff, and I'm not having that. Are there...any more options?" I asked, trying, once again, to find a loophole.

*PLEASE don't do this...* I said. *SHE'S ALIVE, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?* *Please just let us live...* I was so angry at this Devil of mine, so much that I imagined killing him brutally. *AAAAAGH!* I heard it scream. I knew what I was doing. I kept thinking. It kept screaming. It dissolved from my head. I gasped. Bella blinked rapidly as the memory slowly moved back into her head. I finally smiled. It was gone.

I was gasping profusely as I slunk to the forest floor. What was happening to me? These strangers were watching me. Suddenly I felt a stab of pain, moving straight from my heart, pulling my mind in a million directions. My cheek was upon the cold, wet, leaves and mud. My heart was pounding louder than usual as I passed out.

I watched as Bella's body moved towards the ground. I waited as her heartbeat slowed, and turned her from the head first position she was in. Her eyes were closed and She made no movement except for her breathing again. I looked over at Alice, who seemed to be enjoying her destruction of the demon inside of her. I lifted Bella from the wet leaves and mud, seeing that her jeans and jacket were coated in it. I did nothing but stare at her closed eyes for five whole minutes. Then her eyes blinked open and she stared about herself in wonder. She then looked at me and wrapped her arms around my neck. "You're back," I said. She nodded. She stood up and slipped again into the soaking wet leaves. She stood up again, and smiled sheepishly at me. It was about ten at night now, and Bella looked utterly exausted. I didn't blame her.

I finally escaped my fantasy world and saw Edward and Bella staring lovingly at each other. I smirked happily and asked, "Well, what now? Bella's tired and...we're not because we can't be." I giggled at my joke. I could finally return to my peaceful, happy state without having to hear my demon whisper my name.

I giggled in spite of myself. "You know Alice, I'm pretty frikin freezing here, so maybe you could take me to your house and get me some dry clothes...?"I suggested.
